It takes an extraordinary person to see that something bad is happening and try to change it. The struggle for change it a long and hard war for reform.Mikhail Gorbachev is one of the special people who saw that something was wrong and changed it. HIs struggle to end communism in the Soviet Union. Mikhail Gorbachev was born March 12, 1931 in Stavropol, Soviet Union. He was born a peasant. He joined the Young Communist League and became a state combine driver. He showed great promise and was enrolled in Law School. After law school ,he began to rise up the ranks of the communist party.
