Filled with bantering and arguing between the two feuding families—the Montagues and Capulets, filled with hate, recklessness, no consideration, no internal monologue, no self-consciousness about engaging in violence, no reflection before execution, Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet embodies the dangerous excessiveness of impetuous actions; the characters do not is no question the world around them and the consequences that their actions cause. Because of rash decision-making, the events in the play unfolded tragically. Tybalt, a tempestuous character, clearly exemplifies not contemplating action.
