Ras: Team Analysis

Improved Essays
RAs meet and work amongst each other and also with the Residence Hall Directors in order to provide the best dorm experiences they can. Although, both in and out of school, I tend to work alone rather in a group, I must improve upon operating as a team player to be a more effective RA. For the occasional floor meeting, RAs also have to talk in front of their whole floor. I am prone to getting nervous when speaking in front of larger groups, but I will also better develop those skills in order to effectively communicate information to my floor.

I will also be hearing the voices from my team when deciding on the goals and roles. I will set realistic deadlines set for completion of task assignments.…

Collaboration For All Scrutinizing Teamwork Smooth and amicable cooperation between two or more individuals is a vital component in any personal or work-based relationship. From previously feuding lovers striving to coalesce the fragments of their broken marriage, to an operating room packed to the brim full of doctors and nurses, working as a team builds unshakeable connections and engenders the most significant of improvements in human interaction. While it is evident that teamwork is beneficial to all affiliated members, it is often a difficult factor to establish and enforce. I believe the key responsibility for a Residential Assistant is to build an effective community. To create a positive and productive community, residential assistants should be open, disciplined, and compassionate. Living in a society that is comprised of people from different cultural and social backgrounds, it is important for a RA to emphasize an open environment. An open environment will allow residents to feel secure and comfortable to express themselves, and it will protect individualities of each student.…

It is important that each teacher shares the responsibility of teaching the students. This sharing of responsibility allows for teachers to become more knowledgeable in their subjects which, allows them to teach the areas they know the best. Being knowledgeable…

The decisions our team made affected how our team placed in comparison to the other teams in the class.
