Okay so like if you don’t think I lost my cool yet, here is where you say bye to the Riku who makes sense. Like every other Top 10 Article, #1 never makes any sense cause of random spewing everywhere. Cause Im not even gonna try to keep cool, so be glad Im not writing this at 3AM. But like ugh this man guys. Just this man. His face- his fricken face is so ugh. UGH IS THE ONLY THING I CAN SAY RIGHT NOW TO EXPLAIN HIM. PLES HELP.

>.> But let me do say something I hate. I hate that there is such a low fanbase for Rapmon. Like I mean Im glad I don’t need to share but god this. THIS. THIS *starts waving hands up and down presenting Rapmon* GUYS THIS. PLES. HOW DO YOU NOT LOVE THIS THING TO DEATH. And its cause of the small fanbase though that some

Cause I did that for the other 6 a bit right? Honestly I really should like… collarbones and his dimples again and his amazing ass hair all the time I swear. They are wonderful. But I honestly… have spent very little time actually focusing on Rapmon’s body and appearance cause I was too busy looking at everything else. But I do have to say the guy has some really really nice proportions there. Oh and for the sake of keeping it constant. I mean those who have been around my club and/or have talked to me enough know how much a display of loyalty is like one of the most impressive things in my eyes and how it can be a make or break for some people. Like I cant stand those who have no loyalty and I adore those that hold loyalty as important. (probably why I get along with so many shy, awkward, introverted people) And I swear Rapmon presents this so beautifully. Like that one interview thing discussing Rapmon and his dream to be a great rapper, the people criticizing him for being an idol as well, all that would give him a reason to consider going solo as a rapper and all. All of that that would give him a right to at least hesitate a bit. And when asked “Bangtan Boys or Solo” he really did not hesitate to state his loyalty to the band and like if you look at the filming of “Do You”. Agh. Its just too fricken beautiful to see and look at and watch and- ugh. I mean refer to Jin’s part and remember how one of the things that appealed to me was how Jin was caring? Well Rapmon carries that rather well as well as the loyalty shit and its just so… friggen. Ugh. This guy kills me so much you know? Its hard for me to discuss this cause it hurts how much I admire and appreciate and adore and respect this. Just like

In the beginning of the poem, Bradstreet is sleeping during a calm and quiet night, and then suddenly, she wakes up by “thund’ring noise / And piteous shrieks of dreadful voice” (lines 3-4). She then sees that her house is burning in fire. Terrified, she cries out to God and prays so that God would help her. Her house eventually got entirely burned up, and Bradstreet ended up homeless, but she did not lose hope. She began to pull herself together and realized that God took away something that didn’t belong to her anyway.…

There are in total two poems in Slant Six I used as models to write this poem. The first one is “Someone asks, what makes this poem American?’ and it inspires me to find connections among daily things. Specifically, Erin draws the conclusion that “American is anywhere” at the first time by discussing about where the “normal” American food comes from and different customs behind these American food and how American society contributes to the combination of different cultures. Once Erin draw the conclusion that Americanness is everywhere, she works on verifying her conclusion by both describing a normal American mini-marts, Bill’s, and using examples to convince people have opposite ideas.…

But if you take the time to look from the other side, you’ll see that Rap music, or any famous entity in general, all follow these traits. So when rappers bash Rock music for being outdated, it is interesting to see them still copy many famous rockers’ attributes. In the end, there may be no changing your music preferences and that is okay. But it may be useful to actually research the reasons why you love it so much and see if they are up to par.…

Just like poetry, rap has a way of challenging you to think about the words in front of you in different ways. Jay-Z states that people do not know how to listen to the entirety of the music, only choosing to pay attention to the beat. Similarly, rap can be deceptive. Jay-Z explained that listeners tend to take a literal interpretation and make fast opinions, and in order to fully appreciate the work just like any poetry piece you must listen to the song (even the trivial ones) and figure out what is really being said (Carter 78…

Rappers today are seen as the best there ever was. Every time a popular rapper comes out with a new album, everyone seems to love it. It seems that most people don’t even care what's on the album, they just like it because it’s from a popular rap artist. It feels like all those popular rappers rap about the same thing. I know, everyone who doesn’t like popular rappers says that all the time.…

Cavafy’s poem makes me think of college, specifically in terms of how I should, we should, be grateful that we are here. It is a privilege to attend college, a privilege to further our education. It is not easy, but getting here, being accepted here, is an achievement in itself, “a glorious thing” to quote Cavafy. This is a step on the ladder of education. It may not seem, when stepping back and looking at it all, like it is a great feat or triumph to have been accepted here, but by directing my focus to the here and now, I can see that I am incredibly fortunate and extremely privileged to be at this university.…

When the anthology The Gift of Tongues was published, a majority of the writers were not a popular fan of the anthology due to the fact the majority of the people felt that poems should not be read out of context. At first I agreed with the critics during that time period considering the fact that every poem I read, I felt I was in a time machine heading off to different time periods. As I continue reading the poems anthologized by Sam Hamill, I traced this anthology in the epithetical point of view and I learned that Sam yearns us to feel the same empathy in different ways which the different poems are emphasizing. The empathetic feelings he tries to examine is sorrow and he tried to emphasize this from a life point of view and a regrettable point of view. Life point of view is an empathy emphasizing sorrow due to the fact that in life you will feel sorry to the people that are broke.…

However 20% said that they could not relate with the song but argued that the hood is what made The Game the musician he is today and that they would be willing to be in that situation to get the fame and recognition he has. This miscommunication between artist and audience is the biggest element that keeps the African American stereotypes in place, specifically about black men. There is also a miscommunication here because the audience the music is meant for and the audience receiving is different. 71% of rap and hip hop music consumers are white, while only 30% is black or Hispanic (Byone 2009). When listening to rap music, that no longer tells a story one can be confused and convinced that a majority of African Americans live according to the lyrics in the rap artist's song.…
