CEO executive, Liam Jackson, discusses the need for change in Australian legislation surrounding the prevalent issue of rape in today’s society.
Each year millions of taxpayer’s dollars are spent on prosecuting sexual assault in Australian courts. As well as this rape leads to debilitating psychological strain on our women, not to mention the added strain on of our economy, costing taxpayers millions annually. The women of this world are, our mothers, sisters and daughters, by introducing a reform that will assist women who have experienced sexual assault in overcoming their psychological barriers it will ensure that they lead a fulfilling life. With 4 in 5 women who have experienced rape have been medically diagnosed with a long term mental illness, it is crucial for us to protect our women. With a steady rise in rape cases on our once safe and harmonious streets, government intervention is evidently needed to implement a revised legislation. COHENSION
Thus, I, humbly propose that the current legislation be revised to include a standardised criteria of what constitutes as rape for women, which will end frivolous allegations.

Women will be relieved to find out that what they believe to be rape wasn’t actually rape, thus ensuring a resolution to their taxing psychological issues. It should be known to women that of the 250 000 sexual assault charges in 2015, only 7500 cases were found guilty, that’s just 3%! So, if you’re experiencing what you think is rape, then you’re probably wrong. Just remember that, whilst you are being brutally abused as he muffles your screams and you will get through it as it will be over fast
