Rap in general is a very strong lyric form of music. There are so many different forms of rappers and song lyrics, but I do think that they can all make a form of social change. Some raps can be very educational and give you a form of knowledge that you did not expect to receive. They can impact your way of thinking and the way you see things. There are other raps that can do the exact opposite, so weather it is for a good or bad change, I do feel that it does cause a change. The two videos that we saw did show different forms of lives that Chicanos have to live with. I think that they can help many see what it is like to be a Chicano/Chicano is today’s society.
