Randy's Character Analysis From 'Western Horseman'

Improved Essays
Randy was a young man looking for the way of life he saw in the magazine pages of “Western Horseman”, “Field and Stream”, as well as on family trips to Wyoming from his birth state of MN. Bound and determined to leave, he went to AZ with his father and remained there on his own when his dad returned home. He found one way or another to get horseback and learned from some of the bronc busting outlaws in the strings of several ranches from AZ to WA to WY. The more he was beat up, the more he learned about himself and horses; he developed the patience and skills to give even the renegade a chance to change. Randy feels God has given him many opportunities to learn and grow, and he tries to apply that to his horse training.
