South African politician, Nelson Mandela once said, “Money won't create success, the freedom to make it will.” Randy Pausch was a college professor, who unfortunately passed away from pancreatic cancer. Randy’s parents gave him a wonderful childhood, in return, he had a lot of success. An abundance of children today dream of having a childhood like Randy Pausch’s. When Randy was a child, he had freedoms that children today do not get to encounter. His parents would encourage him to paint on his walls. This sparked inspiration and allowed Randy to be himself.
