In the early 1970’s through the early to mid 1980’s there was a series of murders with the victims were young men, who were raped, tortured, and mutilated. The American serial killer known as the “Scorecard Killer” and the “Freeway Killer” was Randy Steven Kraft. Convicted of 16 murders and believed to be guilty of 51 other murders, suspected to have claimed more victims then Patrick Kearney and William Bonin combined. Randy Kraft was born in California, which is the state where all of his murders happened (crimelibrary.com.) Kraft joined the ROTC for a year then left and became a bartender; later on Kraft joined the Air Force but after coming out as gay he was discharged and forced out of the military, leaving him with bartending yet again

Since being convicted and given the death penalty Randy Kraft is still living, but in San Quentin state prison. Kraft has been on death row now for 25 years now, he has stayed alive so long because of continuous appeals and delays and lack of the will that he deserves the death penalty in California.
