When he came out we were all singing and screaming the song or chanting “Randy Houser”, or screaming to the top of our lungs “Randy Houser sing How Country Feels!” Now let’s take this back a few hours. My favorite concert was when i was 9 and I went to see Randy Houser in Racine, Ohio. I was in a heavy hot ball gown also my crown and sash, waiting to show my true colors by putting on a plaid shirt and jeans.I wanted to change because I could feel the humidity, and taste the dust in the air, the dust was so bad to where I couldn’t even see the end of all the floats and cars in the parade. After the long parade was over I got changed into my plaid shirt and blue jeans. Before the concert my court and I got to meet Randy Houser in person and …show more content…
While we were there we had our hair redone because from the humidity it made it super frizzy! During the redo process I probably knocked my dad in the head 4 times with my crown. By time our redo was done we looked country and glitzy. Then we noticed we still had one hour and fourty-five minutes left we played Apples to Apples. We kept a really close eye one the time because we knew if we wanted good seats we would have to get there early.

Finally it was time for the concert! We were all cheering to the top of our lungs “RANDY HOUSER!” We were singing along and Waving our arms swaying to the music. Then he sung his opening song, “How Country Feels.” I went crazy when he sung that song I loved that song then and I still love the song now!

Then it was 2 in the morning, and well let's just say I feel asleep. So then, my pageant director took a photo of me sleeping. I finally woke up and he had 4 songs left to sing. We stayed to hear the rest of the songs and before we all knew it it was 4 in the morning because all the oncourse. We all loaded up the car and headed home. That next evening we got on my mom’s facebook and there it was a picture of me

He was as well playing the piano and had the group in the back playing the other instruments with the jazz vibe to the song. When I looked into Nat King Cole face I can tell he was very genuine when singing the song and believed the words he was saying. To me, that is what makes the listeners be more engaged not only the lyrics, but the performance. Watching, him doing what he loves is so inspiring because it was said, "As an African American performer, Cole struggled to find his place in the civil rights movement... first hand, especially while touring in the South...…

Country music can be traced back to early folk traditions in many of the British Isles. Once in America those traditions crossed paths with the music of previous immigrants and African slaves and the earliest form of country was born. Country music began it journey into the headlines in the early 1920’s because of artist being able to truly connect with the listeners. “In 1925, four musicians from Virginia recording under the name Hill Bellies gave rise to the term hill Billy music, somewhat scornfully applied to the music of country fiddlers, harmonica players, and singers of traditional country ballads.”…

This song performed by Moore made me ecstatic and it was one of the best parts of the concert. The other thing that stood out to me throughout the concert was the remarkable fiddler who never ceased to entertain with his quick fingers and his skillful pluck of the strings. This concert was different from the orchestra concert since The Clinch Mountain Boys seemed more inviting as well as more willing to entertain. Whereas the orchestra concert felt more practiced, and had that distant feeling as if you felt disconnected from the performers. Although Dr. Ralph Stanley passed away recently on June 23, 2016, I am confident that his legacy as well as his songs will live on.…

It was the spring of senior year. I can still remember the feel of the excitement thrumming through our veins – my friend, Zoe and mine. We had met up before the concert to ride together after showering and dressing up while simultaneously dressing down to attend our first official punk rock show. Promptly after getting there and eating a pre-show meal of hot but still greasy, pizza, this being one of many shows for us so we knew the etiquette, we noticed a line for a second show immediately following ours. We knew it had to be major to have people lining up hours before, and sure enough it was partynextdoor, an act I had tried to get tickets for myself months previous, which I voiced to the members of the line, to which they replied, “dude, just sneak in if you can.”…
