As you requested, this letter serves to explain the time period between April, 2014 and May, 2015. With several options, my initial actions were to further my academic status. However, there were demands placed on the family due to illness. I was fortunate enough to contribute to the recovery process of a family member. Once this was resolved, I reflected on my life direction in terms of what was most meaningful to me. During this time, I was able to help establish and implement R.A.K.E. (Random Acts of Kindness) a non-profit organization focused on giving back to others.
