I enjoyed reading what you wrote. You are right about that people were not allowed to see the Pharaohs and his family, I did read about that somewhere. I would think it's because Pharaohs were normal beings, but the people believed they were Gods. Of course the priests had to protect the Pharaohs image that's why they hid them from the common people. They get that part wrong in the movies where they show the Pharaohs and his wife checking on the people or walking among them. Your explanation about Ramses's Pylon Gate was pretty good, I personally didn't research it, so the information you provided was great.
