As the reader talks about the people he starts to compare them to flowers. Stating about that their always protect and beautiful as the flowers they are. Then which is a surprise, he says that he would rather have people see him as a weed. Then which is known as an outcast in high school or anyone where in the world. What he states in the poem why would you let people see you for what you are not. Then showing the true side in their eyes. Just is whatever wants to cause the quote just talks about everyone being blind to life and just see the things that will help them. I feel that it has opened my eyes to things that I have yet to see in this world. This quote,” people only want to see what they are ready to see.” Show me more about how the poem identity is more than just a poem. Then, as I dug a lot deeper and found out.
