Ralph Lord Of The Flies Character Analysis

Ralph- He is the main character and the chosen leader of the stranded kids on the island. Ralph is the character that wants to help build them together, hoping to get rescued. His never giving up momentum gave him the role of the leader and the most adventurous. He also doesn't let the others get to his head, he is too sure of being rescued. Jack- Jack is the most savage in the book. He is dangerous and willing to be reckless. He gets jealous of not getting to be his way, and Ralph getting to do what he wants and can’t. The more he becomes rude and damaging he gets what he wants. As you can see, Jack just wants to be in charge of the whole group of people.

He is taken for granted by all the things they used him for. They called him fat-boy that lead to them calling him Piggy. Piggy was used for starting the fire and getting caught up in the smoke, which he couldn't breath because he had asthma. He was beaten all around the whole story. Come to the end he was also killed by Roger.

Roger- Roger is the rude character, that even pushed down the boulder killing Piggy. His meanness disturbed throughout the book, such to the littluns as well. Roger became very obsessed and crazy the more the book went a long, but it doesn't start as one. Roger also just wanted the power the people above him had, his jealousy made him insane. Sam and Eric- The twins of the book, Sam and Eric, were never separated. These twins were seen at the feast when Simon gets slaughtered but don't admit to the fact that they were. Soon after the twins get into a helpless argument making everyone uncomfortable. The twins were both helpful but the switched back forth on the “rivals”, making it confusing. The Lord of the Flies- Is the beast that people think they see, but Piggy knows it is not real. The lord of flies is shows control over the boys, making them scared and
