There are many types of leaders in books, but I am speaking who I think is the best leader. The leader, I think was the best from the book is Ralph because he had one goal and pushed that goal to its very limit, he’s kind of like General George S. Patton. Ralph is also the best leader because He would get along with everyone and he knew how to think outside of his comfort zone. The three traits that make a leader to me are creativity, Knowledge, and Loyalty. This is the best leader from the novel is Ralph.
To be a great leader you must be creative. Being creative will help you think of more solutions to problems. Being creative opens your imagination so you can think of ways to get out of sticky situations. For example when ralph was hiding

True leadership is represented by standing up for the greater good of a group without selfishness and ignorance towards others. The story The Lord of The Flies by William Golding demonstrates a constant struggle for power and leadership between Jack, Piggy, and Ralph. The malicious actions that result draw out specific aspects of leadership from each boy. Apart from Jack and his aggressive attitude toward others or Piggy with the lack of respect he receives from the others, Ralph 's rational thinking is the trait, that as a leader, trumps the others and clearly shows how his endless efforts for the greater good of the boys make him the distinct leader.…

In “Lord of the Flies”, Ralph, who led by reasoning, is undoubtedly a better leader than Jack, who dictates over his fellow people. Throughout the novel, Ralph presented himself to be a better leader than Jack. He remained civilized and intelligent among the boys who became savage-like, guided the group and felt responsible for them, and focused on hope of being rescued. In the novel, Lord of the Flies, by William Golding, the character that I would’ve chosen to follow would’ve been Ralph. Ralph exemplifies good leadership skills throughout the book. He is able to make lawful decisions that benefit the others while maintaining his focus on getting rescued off the island. Although most of the boys on the island decided that following Jack was a better way to go, Ralph still proved he was the better leader.
