Ralph In William Golding's Lord Of The Flies

The point of my essay is to prove that Ralph is the best leader out of everyone. Ralph displays a better understanding of people than Jack which gives him better leadership qualities. His leadership provides peace unlike Jack’s which provides anger. And how Ralph is committed on leaving the island and looking for help.

I believe that Ralph is more caring and more understanding than almost everyone else. Ralph treats the boys with dignity. Jack for example doesn’t treat them with respect but Ralph believes all the boys deserve to be treated equally. Ralph knows that the boys need stability in order to survive living in this island. Ralph creates simple rules and kind of forms a government to achieve this order. Also he treats Piggy with respect because he understands how Piggy is and how he gets emotional. So he treats him with respect and makes him feel equal to everyone.

Ralph himself is a really nice guy, anyone would be lucky to have a leader like that. His leadership is the best for a situation like this when everyone is terrified and confused on what's the future is like. He probably feels like that to but he tries his best not showing that and he is taking responsibility for everyone. His character has developed a lot in the early chapters he was a more playful boy but now he is has definitely changed to a responsible man. But this does not mean he won't say anything if he thinks it's wrong. For example in Chapter 6 he said, “ All this I meant to say. Now I've said it. You voted me for chief. Now you do what I say. “ It may sound rude but it is is needed at some times, when you need people to listen to

Not only is the Hunger Games series an action-packed, epic love story (still better than Twilight), adventure novel, it is also a prime example of an allegorical story. In an allegory novel, literary devices such as characters, setting, and other symbols are used to represent a literal and figurative meaning. In the Hunger Games, the Capitol is a utopian city where the wealthy and powerful reside. In relations to the real world, the Capitol represents Hollywood. Similar to the Hunger Games, Lord of the Flies by William Golding, is also an allegory novel.…
