Ralph Bunche is one of the many people who can say that they had a lifetime of achievements. Ralph Bunche was the first black Nobel Prize winner for maintaining peace between the continually feuding Arabs and Jews in Palestine, and this the reason why I want to research Bunche into further depth. His other major projects as UN under-secretary-general were stopping military conflict in the Suez Conflict, orchestrating the Congo (Zaire), Cyprus and Bahrain, and served as part of the board of the NAACP, aiding the civil rights movement. He was closely tied to education as he was went through a multitude of colleges including the University of California at Los Angeles with a BA an international relations and an MA in government at Harvard University
