Mission and vision statements are the foundation of a nonprofit organization purpose. According to Tankovića (2013), mission and vision are “not only a part of strategic management but also a part of communication with the market because the companies present their organizational intentions to the stakeholders (p.2). After this introduction, Raleigh Recuse Mission Organization, located in Raleigh, North Carolina, which is a faith- based nonprofit organization, mission and vision statements will be analyzed in this paper.

This is clearly stated in the Mission Statement “transforms lives” and addressing the whole person, physical, emotional and spiritual needs. I personally believe that the Raleigh Rescue Mission Organization ‘s mission takes on social responsibility and their vision for many years have been carrying out those responsibilities in which is transforming lives.
