Raising Youth Volunteer Application
What are some of your future prospects & how will this opportunity help you reach these goals?
RESPONSE: Since I was a child, more specifically fourth grade, I had decided my career, to become an obstetrician-gynecologist. My reason for choosing this considerably unusual career at such a young age is to mainly bring a change in this male-dominated world. When women around the world are being inferior to men in every aspect of their lives starting from birth to death, I aspire to change that, and by being an obstetrician, I can try to put a stop to female infanticide and discrimination because of unwanted pregnancy. Being a part of Raising Youth might definitely be the best way for me to get better at some

On a brief level, I have qualities such as reliability, compassion, time-management, maturity, and responsibility. On top of that, I pride myself on being social, a good conversationalist, having supportive listening skills, and the skill of accepting different feelings I face. Something that makes me very admirable is fact that I am resilient to take up any challenge that I am given, making me extremely committed to things. I also show no fear in standing up, be it for me, someone else, or just an idea that is hugely despised without worrying about the outcomes. By being a publicity officer in a feminism club, I am prone to getting insults from people who don’t know the right meaning of the word, but I have the skills to handle that sort of problem, which is another of my skill. Throughout the year, I have never missed a single day of school but still manage to start each day with positivity and a sense of successfulness and maintain my social, mental, and physical health. By being a freshman, I have the ability to spend more time helping kids with autism and other mental problems by volunteering more often than upperclassmen because they have a lot more commitments and they have to prepare for college, which puts me at an advantage. Having a 4.0 GPA, being such an active member in many school activities and clubs, and being a club officer in two clubs in my freshman year of high school while even seniors struggle to get a position sets me apart from everyone

Firstly, for youngsters experiencing childhood in an organized, halfway house sort setting, it is absolutely critical that kids have the capacity to build up a steady, long haul connection to their parental figures. Permitting troops of voyagers to come in and embrace, play and giggle with the children at regular intervals has unequivocally the inverse impact. In the Spring of last year, it was my Junior year, one of the most critical years in high school. It’s the year that colleges look at the most, also it was the year that I was in some of the most challenging classes. Mostly honors, a lot of homework, and tests to go along with it. Studying would take me until late at night, and even on weekends, all day long. When it’s the end of the term everyone checks their grades for their report cards, and progress reports.…

During high school, I learned to be patient, kind, and respectful to children under the age of 12. With this in mind, I believe that I am able to do the same and more with humans that are a couple years younger or older than me. Most of the counselors are energetic, respectful, welcoming, and understanding, but I know that I will contribute those characteristics and more because of my background. Being Vegan makes me a little more understanding of the people that feel like they don’t belong in a group or even society. Being an adventurous person helps me understand other people that also enjoy extreme sports, outdoor activities, and rare things that some people don’t even know about.…

For my volunteer service, I chose the game day parking help for the Rosenbaum Family House. The Rosenbaum Family House is a “home away from home” for families facing a medical crisis. As someone who has spent a lot of time traveling to doctors over the years, I know first-hand it can not only be exhausting but pricey. They give a more affordable option to those without a checkout time, for as long at their family member is at the hospital. I chose this to give back to an organization helping people at some of their most desperate times.…
