Raising Sheep the Modern Way, an informative written by Paula Simmons and copyrighted in 1976, was composed with the intention of providing ignorant small-scale shepherds with useful information to improve profitability from a flock of sheep. The book efficiently provides needed information to a novice shepherd. Yet it is unsuccessful in providing knowledge to an experienced shepherd. However, I did enjoy reading the book because it showed me the drastic differences in sheep breeds from then to now.
