The cartoon by A.F Branco on Comically Incorrect very clearly portrays the problems with raising minimum wage. There is a man that just got his meal from a fast food restaurant while a man is serving him. The man says “12 bucks for a crappy lil’ hamburger” (Branco)?! Then the worker says to the man “Look on the bright side, now I'm getting $15.00 an hour” (Branco) while another worker is walking out saying there is no bright side because he just got laid off. The worker is getting paid 15 dollars per hour for just serving his meal and there are clear effects of that.
