Plot, theme, basic building blocks in all literature,to fabricate a story. A Raisin in the Sun has a simple design, a rising action, a falling action and a climax. Yet Lorraine Hansberry does something different with her story she makes it seem that the climax, the very turning point of a story, takes place in the second scene where in genuineness takes place halfway through the third scene. She wrote it in such a way that the reader is deceived thinking the most critical moment takes place In the middle where usually all stories’ have their climax but instead she just adds a massive spike in rising action that isn’t the climax. She didn't want to make her story bland, Hansberry wanted to show that not all stories have to follow the same plot
