Should government raise the minimum wage?
Minimum wage is the lowest wage permitted by law or by a special agreement (such as one with a labor union). Minimum wage was established due to a response in rough conditions for workers to ensure that businesses pay fair wages to their employees. Off course it would be nice to get a higher minimum pay but honestly it’s not the best decision for the country. With a higher minimum wage there will be a lower need for jobs and workers. Instead of raising prices to counter the higher cost of wages, businesses could simply just cut employees or even reduce benefits. Imagine this a company has 30 employers and they each get paid 8$ and it increases to 11$.That would already be 90$ more the company would
