How to raise charitable children?
The word ‘charity’ means to give someone something out of generosity when he is in utter need and the word ‘charitable’ defines a person who possesses such generous habits. We have been hearing since ages that ‘charity begins at home’, but does it really begins at home? If yes, what are the factors that influence it? Nevertheless, the most credible argument that satisfies the above questions is that charity begins from your early days. It began when you were a child and you saw your parents demonstrating some generous actions. Consequently, it was you who continued the legacy of caring and giving. Now you want your kids to do the same. But how do you impart those qualities to your children?

Appreciate their generous acts more than often: If you find your child getting involved in charity events, encourage him in person and in front of family and friends. This will provide them the motivation to keep participating in such events.
6. Frame it as a habit: Involving charity in your routine ultimately leads your child to become a better person. You can plan to visit poor communities once every month or even make it a habit to take definite visits on special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries and festivals. What makes a festival better than bringing a smile to others’ face on the occasion and enjoying it together? What else would make God smile?
7. Encourage your child to save more: Encouraging your kid to save more so that he can give more. Teach him to put away 2$ for every 100$ he saves. These 2 dollars can then keep growing and he can spend those for a virtuous cause.
8. Digitize your kid’s efforts: Kids today love to be digitized. You can record them doing a selfless deed and then show it later to family and friends. Also, you can keep recording those moments every time and try building a time capsule for him to cherish on his every birthday and feel delighted about it. Again, this will help him stay
