Rain Reign is an amazing book by Ann Martin. This book is about an autistic girl named Rose and her sad adventure with her dog Rain. Although this is one of my favorite books, I wouldn’t want to be a character in it. This is because this book had many sad events that will make you cry while reading it.
For example, Rose’s only friend is her beloved dog Rain. But this only made it so much harder when Rose’s dad let Rain outside in the middle of a hurricane. Rose didn’t know if Rain was alive or if she would ever come home. She had to hopelessly search for her dog wondering if she was even alive. I couldn’t imagine being a character in this book if this would happen to me. Another reason is that Rose’s father isn’t a good man. Instead of calming
