In The story who am I without him by Flake, Raheem’s girlfriend faces some real drama. It all starts when Raheem says “go to school without me”. Then she catches Raheem looking and smiling at a red headed girl. When the bus finally pulls up, everyone gets on except Raheem. That’s when she catches him with the red headed girl.
The scene is very realistic and relatable. I am a bus rider too. When the bus driver yells “next stop Seventeenth Street”, I could visualize myself in that scene. I think she handled the situation very poorly. This scene could’ve been in a different place but, it enhances the plot.
I feel like the plot would more naturally flow if the scene took place on a school campus. If there were more people around them the conflict
