Cruelty is something everyone has to go through in life. Cruelty is willfully causing pain or suffering to others, or feeling no concern about it. People can be very cruel to others. In the novel the Rag in the Bone Shop, Robert Cormier shows such bad cruelty Alicia was giving. Alicia was an innocent seven year old girl. She was very good at jigsaw puzzles and she loved them.
