Friday, March 10, 2017, Henry enters the lunchroom, running to find Josh. “Josh… Josh! You are never going to believe what I found!” Henry says with excitement. “A concert flyer?” Josh guesses. “Not just any concert flyer. It’s for my favorite band, For King and Country!” catching his breathe, Henry shows Josh the flyer. “They’re selling tickets today. We need to get some.” He begs to Josh. Josh looks at Henry curiously, “Wait, you want me to go with you?” “Yes, I want to share this experience with you.” Henry answers. Josh takes a minute to think. “Ok, after school we’ll jump in line and get you those tickets.” Henry hugs Josh. “Thanks, you’re the best!” Henry walks away from the table. Later after school, Henry and Josh are sitting in line …show more content…
“Hey, Henry!” Josh runs towards him. “Guess what. I found another way to get you those tickets! A raffle.” Henry stares angrily at Josh. “A raffle? What is the possibility of us winning a raffle?” Josh shows him a box of raffle tickets. “I’d say, pretty good. I entered both of us in fifty times each!” “Whoa, Josh, I think we might win!” Henry replies. The raffle guy anounces, “And we’re about to give away two free tickets to see For King and Country in concert!” And the winner is…” He draws from the box. “Henry! Do we have a Henry here?” Josh and Henry run to the man. “Yes, that’s me!” Henry replies. Another man walks up to them. “No, those are my tickets.” “Well, it depends is your ticket number 123?” The raffle man asks. Josh looks through the box to find ticket number. “It’s right here.” The man shows them the ticket. “Well here you go.” He hands the man the tickets. “Sorry, boys. That’s all I have.” “Sorry, man.” Josh apologizes. “It’s fine. I just really wish we could go.” Henry replies. Henry walks away …show more content…
“Hey, Luke, you forgot your wallet.” He hands Luke his wallet. “You know, most kids your age would just take it for yourself. You’re good kids.” Henry and Josh thank him for his complement. “How about I reward you two, by letting you spend the day with me and my band. You can even get reserved seats in the front row for the concert.” “Luke that’s a great offer, but that sounds like a big reward just for returning a wallet.” Henry replies. “I have about a millions dollars in here.” He shows them the wallet. “We’ll take it.” Josh
