All the great design houses are unveiling their Spring and Fall lines for 2007. While it would be wonderful to be able to drop several thousand dollars on a jacket or skirt, it just isn't feasible for most shoppers when they consider the fact that the garment they buy this season will be out of style next season. It will be the fashion world's equivalent to what your wrap fish in - yesterday's news. Fashion trends and designers are fickle creatures. Sure, whatever you buy this year may be back in style in 20 years or so, but who wants to buy something they can only wear a couple times every 20 years? That just isn't my idea of getting more for your dollar! So what are we to do if we don't want to be lost in yesterday's fashions, ever trying …show more content…

Picture a well mixed recipe of fifties glamour and ladylike grace with a generous portion of nineties grunge for balance. The result is a delicious mix of plaid blazers," jeggings," modern red lips, purple eye shadow, and big, big, hair. The runways were full of over-the-top fashion ideas. but anyone can wear this fall's trends with a little creativity and a lot of good taste. According to vogue.com, strong, architectured eyebrows were hot on the runways, many colored in pastel blue or bright colored orange. While I wouldn't recommend wearing Irish green eyebrows to your next business meeting, you CAN achieve a tasteful version of this trend. Ask your stylist or esthetician to keep your eyebrows fuller, and not too skinny, with a strong arch. Fill brows in with a brow powder or pencil for the strong, yet professional image. Save the funky colors for the club where anything goes and keep your brows the focal point with a nude face. . Unfortunately, lips continue to be vampy-trampy in dark, dark shades of smudgey black and midnight. If you must, dab on dark lipstick with your fingertips to achieve that messy, just bitten look, keeping in mind that dark shades will age you and make your lips look smaller. Perfect American Body

I remember growing up and having this set standard of what my body was supposed to look like, what clothes I would wear, and what makeup (or lack of) I had caked on my face. Each country has a specific type of woman or "Barbie" that little girls desire to become, that men adore, and that other woman envy. However,I've come to realize that what is "beautiful" in one country is not necessarily in another. America and Japan are two excellent example of this. Ranging from the expected body types, to the clothing that is wore, and even the style of makeup they wear both are uniquely different.…
