Josh wakes up at 4pm after he went to sleep at 6pm the previous day. As he steps out onto the floor, he slowly glances around for any sign of technology. He puts on his tin foil hat and goes out into the world. He walks to his car which has no battery and pushes it down a hill to get rolling. Once the car gets around 5 mph, he jumps in. With the momentum, he steers it onto the road going down into the city. A quick glance on the inside of the car reveals that all the wires and the stereo are missing. Josh took them out due to his fear of technology. As he rides down the alaskan mountain side, he sees something horrible. Something so terrifying that he almost ran his car off the road. It was a Donald Trump sign. As he regains his control, he continues to drive down into the city. Once he gets there, he realized …show more content…
But to his horror, he saw a new shop. Radioshack….. He looked and saw it… He saw what contributed to his heart attack. A Tv. A blizzard immediately broke out as if his fear caused it. He got control over himself and continued to the post office. Once there, he wrote a letter to his Mom that he does on a weekly basis. He talks about all that has happened to the town and his life. With how many letters he writes, he still doesn't know that his mother just throws them away. She hates him more than any others due to his fear of technology. She kicked him out at the age of 27 and never wanted to see him again. This was obviously misinterpreted by Josh who thinks that he is on vacation. He walked back to his car which was obviously not going anywhere thanks to the fear of technology. As he walks back up the hill, he sees the radioshack again, but what was there was worse than anything that he had ever seen in his life. Donald Trump had become president. He sprinted up the hill only to fall and hit his head. He got back up and saw Donald Trumps surrounding him with a phone and tablet in hand. He passed out and woke up in his bedroom.
