Basic training can begin at Valencia doing dual enrollment. It lets you actually do hands on things. One program of specialization in nursing is a Radiology Nurse Practitioner. What Radiology Nurse Practitioners do is assure compassionate nursing care for woman, and families in the Breast Imaging. They will also assure the right preparation of the patients, work on scheduling the patients, and perform procedure assessments. In order to become a Radiology Nurse Practitioner there is needed education, course work, job planning, and career vision. Radiology Nurse Practitioners have at least four years of a bachelor’s degree, pass the RN exam, and obtain a nursing license. The major that I plan to pursue is radiology. The degree that I plan to pursue is MSN (Master of Science in Nursing Degree), and FNP. At UCF, the MSN portion of the FNP, allows the students in the DNP program to sit for the state-required certification examinations when they have completed the list of courses required Certification is required by the state and gives the authorization necessary to function in the advanced practice role while they complete the DNP curriculum. MSN degree programs are typically two years in duration and open to holders of BSN degrees. Some MSN programs will also offer entry to students with health-related bachelor’s degrees. The ultimate goal would be to work as a Radiology Nurse Practitioner at Arnold Palmer. When landing this dream job, I will do no matter what I need to do to stay there.
