To me practicing medicine has always been a challenge of gathering information, assessing the problem, focusing my attention and solving the puzzle; the combination which I later figured out, fits into radiology at the highest.
Participating in an elective rotation during the third year of medical school enhanced my interest in radiology. I had the opportunity to visit the department and to attend the clinical and didactic lectures; an experience which was continued even after the elective course due to my newly developed interest. Besides being the regional center, as well as a follow-up facility for different type of clinical disorders, University of Toronto provides residents with comprehensive and diverse opportunities to be exposed to a broad spectrum of cases, encountered in the field of radiology. The University of Toronto is at the forefront of design and execution of valuable research projects in medical imaging. Enthusiastically interested in both medical practice as a radiologist and research, I believe the University of Toronto would be the ideal academic center for me to pursue my postgraduate training.
As a talented, professional resident with high performance standards and research background, I do believe that my hard work and exceptional attitude will prompt me to learn everything and make me an outstanding addition to an institution that integrates academic learning, patient advocacy and research. I have every reason to believe that the skills I have cultivated during the years of observing, assisting and researching in the various fields of surgery, gave me a unique point of view which will truly help me to excel in radiology and contribute to the field specially the interventional
