Radiologist Career Research Paper

Radiologist, Counseling Psychologist, and Psychiatrists, these are the careers I am planning to pursue. Radiologist examines and diagnoses disorders using x-rays and radioactive materials. In some cases they might treat patients. A counseling psychologist assesses and evaluates an individual’ problems through the use of case history, interview, and observation. A psychiatrist is someone who diagnoses, treats, and help prevent disorders of the mind. Radiologist other occupations are radiologist assistant, dosimetrists and radiation therapist, radiologic technologist, and sonographers. Most of these occupations require master’s degree, and some require a P.H.D, M.D, or J.D (law degree). They review or transmit images and information using picture archiving or communications systems. They communicate examination results or diagnostic information to referring physicians, patients, or families. Related occupations are marriage and family therapists, mental health counselor, healthcare social workers, school psychologist, and mental health and substance abuse social workers. A counseling psychologist nature of work is in private practice. This means that they have their own offices and are able to establish their own work schedule researching and etc. Requirement for employment is having post-doctoral training, doctoral degree, and a master’s degree.
