To continue in any other field, such as Sonography, one must apply to the sonography program and continue their education that way. If one where to want just some bachelors, they would be able to receive their bachelors of health science by taking additional credits after the radiologic technologist program is finished. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, many radiologic technologist work as a tech for a short amount of time, just until they can advane to other programs like; sonography, MRI, nuclear medication, and radiation therapy. If one where to want to have a more successful career, they should definitely consider taking more classes for another modality. The duties of a radiologic technologist seem to be very straight forward, but are very important, for the responsibility of their patient and themselves.
