Radiography: An Application To Become A Radiographers

I am applying to study Radiography because I am very passionate about the service radiographers provide to millions every year. I am interested in the way radiographers support the medical teams in their diagnosis and treatment of disease by producing high quality images on the inner body. I also love working with people, and becoming a Radiographer will allow me to work alongside a diverse group of colleagues in their care and treatment of patients. I am looking forward to the opportunity to use different imagining equipment such as Angiography and Ultrasound equipment and learning how to use software to plan scans for patients. This appeals to me because I would enjoy the challenge of interpreting complex images and putting together reports which will support an accurate diagnosis. …show more content…
I'm caring, responsible, trusting and patient person who is always ready to help another in any sort of difficulty. These skills along with many more will help me to achieve my goals. For example being a caring person will come into practice when dealing with the patient; I will need to care for them, make sure they are relaxed and comfortable, if they need any assistance they should know I will always be there to help them. Furthermore I have to build a trusting relationship with the patient to help me succeed so the patient will feel more relaxed and have faith in me, and in the same way the patient can trust me to look after them and do my absolute best to treat them.
