The Radical Islamists are groups that have formed over the years because of their hope to reform certain traditions and challenge religious practices. They have been recognized as supporters of Prophet Muhammad and his early followers. The Radical Islamists want to bring people back to God’s law and the sacred practices of the first Muslims. Abdessalam Yassime labeled their goal as “ islamicize modernity” because they want to combine elements of modernity while also maintaining elements of Islamic heritage.
