I also understand a lot more about the side effects they may be experiencing because of my time spent with the nurses and doctors. I know what to look out for and when to contact the nurses, and I will use that information to make better judgement calls in the

The main issue is being able to correctly market to the intended audience in an effective and price efficient way. Especially with there being such a strong contingency with the CareFirst grant. My goal was to make sure I fully understand the project and the aspect I needed to address in my collaterals. I did this by taking the time to research all aspects of DoctorsTelemed and the needs of my audience, and then tie the two aspects together. I didn’t start making my project in till I felt confident in my research of addressing uninsured college student’s needs in regards to health care.…

During this week at my agency, I indulged in the following activities which includes; attending the team meeting, observed, sat in for intakes, med-checks as well as carried out a family therapy session. The first client scheduled for this week did not show up for session, but her mother called the agency stating that she forgot their appointment and rescheduled. On the other hand, my young client who is diagnosed with ADHD showed up for intake with her mother. Even though the agency already discussed privacy and confidentiality to the client’s mother, I re-assured her about this during the intake session. I also added that as part of confidentiality, when we come across each other at the store I will not say hi but will respond if she does; based on the knowledge gained from the my seminar class as well as ideas shared by my field liaison.…

Through these semesters there was a lot of important information that we have all earned and it is important to bring it all together to be successful in clinics. We have also learned about dental hygiene process of care model and that is a significant aspect in client care clinics. As we started clinic in week 2 I found that my time management skills were not as good. I found myself wasting time and not using it efficiently but as more clinics happened, I got better and was able to do things in advanced, which really helped.…

On November 14th, 2016 I went back to acute care at Moses Cone. My job for the day was to be the Medication Nurse. So when we were getting report from the leaders, I was assigned 4 patients. Going into the clinical day, I was sort of nervous just because I did not know what the day was going to be like and also because I had not been in the hospital setting, let alone an acute floor, in three weeks. So I brushed up on how clinical and reminded myself of important things that I like to do throughout the day to better a patients stay.…
