Radiant Stewardesses Research Paper

Decent Essays
As we accessed the airplane, we got greeted by radiant stewardesses. Since Lillian ordered first-class tickets, our elegant seating place was at the front of the airplane. The airplane eventually got filled by people from various cultures, so we started to buckle our seats as assigned by the radio and off we flew to Cairo, Egypt. It was early in the morning, which then I decided to take a tranquil nap. In a few minutes, I rose from the alarms of “delightful” stewardesses and the cries of babies. Dining time, here I come! There were options such as, white chicken, cut into bite-size pieces served with fragrant rice with some light soy sauce, or grilled fish topped with sprigs of coriander leaf and sesame oil. I chose to write my paper on S. Truett Cathy, because as you will see, he is one of the great pioneers of the hospitality, and foodservice, industry. From a very young age, Samuel Truett Cathy (“Truett”) realized that providing excellent customer service was the heart and soul of any good business model. He set out to accomplish his goals, and with some ups and downs along the way, built the second-largest quick-service chicken restaurant chain in the United States. S. Truett Cathy is an gifted businessman, author, Presidential Volunteer Service Award winner, and philanthropist; he also embodies the very meaning of exceeding guest expectations. On Sunday the 18th of September I was terminated from Texas Road House. Although the managers may have said their part of the story, I believe my explanation of the event has yet to be heard. Here is what happened in my perspective: I picked up and carried a “follow” tray of food to 114, a table that belonged to Alexis B. As I reached the table she can acknowledged that I was waiting for her to finish and I waited so that the rest of the food could be distributed. I noticed that the tray she had on the Tray Jack that once carried the first round of food had now been cluttered with emptied bowls and glasses to make room for the entrees.…

After the development of these cosmopolitan utopias, the culinary culture underwent its own set of distinctive patterns and traditions. At the pinnacle of high society are the elites that indulge in having feasts every day using their finest dishes. In contrast the Bedouins of Arabia, nomadic people, were not very keen of the lively urban display of socioeconomic power. “This difference bewildered their fellow arabs living in large cities of Syria, but the “authenic” Arabs, still attached to the customs of nomadic culture, did not hesitate to express their disdain for sophisticated dishes that adorned the princely banquets of Damascus” (Zaouli). In comparison the Bedouin were very simple people, they could never fully accept the customs that…

The familiar smell of steamed sauerkraut fills the church. I spot my Nana rushing around in her red apron, wearing the biggest smile on her face. She greets us with hugs and good mornings until she is whisked off to do another task. We find an open table and place our things there to save our spots. I was smart enough to leave my coat in the car to avoid having it smell like the repulsive sauerkraut.…

As I drove through Belden Village on what was a very pleasant February night, there was a different atmosphere than that of the previous months. Excitement filled the air as it was the beginning of a new era. As I passed the Chick-fil-a parking lot, I noticed that it was not filled to its usual capacity. I had finally arrived at my destination that I had longed for many months. Cars were filed around the building twice and occupied the entire parking lot down to Value City Furniture, as police were needed to help regulate traffic.…

As the pilgrims arrived I began to plan a seating arrangement so all will be fine and dandy the night of the dinner with no absurd interruptions. I first placed the Summoner in the far left-hand side corner for I know he is an irrational drunk who at any time may be obligated to leave to the distant restroom for his bladder will be full. He is also hard to look at as well with his overly blemished face. That’s why I intended to have his right side free of any fellow pilgrims.…
