A majority of people do not think about the racism, stereotypes, and hate that Caucasian people face. People think that all whites think that they are superior to all other races (Bott). All Arabs, Muslims, and Egyptians, are categorized as one. These different ethnicities are often grouped into one large group. People from the Middle East are known as terrorists, and bombers. If someone is wearing any sort of of head wrap, turban, or gown, most people think him or her is a terrorist. Especially in the United States, citizens are uneasy or nervous around Middle Eastern people. Most Americans associate 9/11 with people from the Middle East. When in an airport, if an American sees a Middle Eastern person in security, they turn their heads and assume negative thoughts about that person (Maddy). Americans often associate Middle Eastern people to Osama Bin Laden and other terrorists. Even though a majority of these people did not agree with Osama Bin Laden, people across the world fear them. This stereotype is extremely disrespectful towards all Middle Easterns. The problem is that Americans are extremely uninformed when it comes to Middle Easterners (Maddy).
