This paper will go over three articles which are related to racism within the workplace. In the first article, Mistry and Latoo (2009) write about subtle racism, specifically in the medical field, and how it can affect the work of minorities working/studying in this field compared to their white peers. In the second, Becerra (2015) focuses on racial incivility, consciously or unconsciously masking racism in everyday acts so it’s not as noticeable. And Becerra (2015) also talks about how the Vance v. Ball State University affected this. The third article, Ritenhouse (2013) talks about Title VII, which intends to prohibit discrimination based on race, sex, religion, and national origin in the workplace. But it is still very hard to win a court
