Racism has been apart of the world for centuries and every culture and race has their own racist towards another race. Racism happens on a daily occurrence, whether it is at school, work, or in public it is everywhere. With how much Racism there is in the world, is it human nature or a choice have racism? Racism has been around in history for ages, it has caused wars and wrongful doings. Racism today can be justified in every country and every race, also a lot of different races take offense on racist comments or jokes, however, if us humans know the result of racism from the past then why do we still …show more content…
With all these different races there is bound to be some form of racism. With the current events in San Bernadino and Paris, the U.S. has taken the Islamic, Muslim and any other related race and put hate upon them. The U.S. at this time is in defence mode with all the attacks happening with ISIS. The government and any security want to protect their homeland and just after this event there is racism and stereotyping with those races. When Michael Brown was killed there was a lot of racial slurs. Alexandra Rosas said, “But when I read of this hate and anger toward people, purely based on a color difference, it takes me back to when I was a child. And it hurts when I'm forced to remember how I would let people say things to me that weren't kind, and let them ask me questions that were personal and rude, and how I did nothing, but accept that behavior from them.” She has been a victim of racism even inside the United States. It is not just one country or race, every country and race is responsible for some form of racism. There is evidence of racism in the United States, Eastern countries, South America, and all over the world. Every country has some form of racism they do say towards another race or country. Racism is not an act any government or person can prevent. There are people all over being accused of being racist. "Altogether, the latest surveys show the public has reacted to the past year by growing more sensitive to racial discrimination and equality, even as deep divisions persist on the extent of the problem and potential solutions,” said Scott Clement in the article written by Christopher Ingraham. The polls in this article have shown that racism was almost just as big problem in 1995 than it is now. In between these years the poll shows less people thinking it was a major issue. Things are the same as they were in the mid-90’s showing we have hardly changed as human beings, however there is more to it than just being human
