It kind of became like a norm to the society because we have adjusted ourselves to racism in our daily lives. However, the society is slowly making progress in terms of unification. This year’s presidential rallies have shown a great diversity on the democratic side, where Caucasians, African-Africans, Asian Americans, and many more united to stand together to stop racism. During the rallies of Trump, we have seen persecution of numerous diverse individuals, from Muslim Americans, to African Americans, who were forcefully kicked out of the rallies for their beliefs. According to the Constitution, we all have a freedom of speech, which means that we are allowed to express our feelings on a particular subject or individuals without being persecuted. However, this was not the case in those rallies. The shameful acts some individual had to go through while being kicked out are against the ethics of the founding fathers who wrote the constitution. Therefore, a reminder as well as a strong enforcement on the constitution is crucial to avoid future conflicts within the society. Why? We all were raised differently, and have different cultures. Rich individuals may be suspicious, and uncomfortable around poor individuals, and vice versa. I believe that it doesn’t matter where we come from, whether we have long beard, or whether we are Muslims or not, everyone has a good side as well as a bad one. However, it is important to give one another a chance, not the society as a whole but the individual. Just because Hitler, as a German, was a Nazi doesn’t mean that all Germans are racist. After learning about one another, then we can decide whether an individual should be avoided or not. But cutting off a whole community for their beliefs and their looks should be avoided so we can grow as a whole and provide a better future for our future generations. People like Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King dedicated their life’s, to unify the country and stop the injustices against the minorities. We all the same racism is just for ignorant people who don’t like other people being together. To have a better community we need to fight for our brother and sisters.
