In the year 2016, you would think that by now, racism targeted towards people of color would be non-existent. Unfortunately that is not the case. Racism towards many people, especially people of color, seems to be becoming more prevalent as time goes by. Many wrongful murders have been exposed in the media and it has become a huge problem for the people of the United States. For this reason, the Black Lives Matter Movement was started and is expanding in popularity as each day goes by. The Black Lives Matter movement is about bringing justice to those who have been wrongfully done, unifying a community, and raising awareness across the country. Many are concerned about racism in their communities, especially people of African American origin. As such, BLM is a unified movement which uses empathy to accomplish their goals, not hate. This movement is a project that fortifies any freedom idea or opinion to respect and protect the African American race around the world. This organization prohibits discrimination and racism among any minority or social group. Their main concern is about the damage of hate and segregation in any group, society, or nation. For this reason, the BLM movement is one where being aware of the inexcusable acts that are inflicted on the African American community, knowing what BLM stands for, and how to get more people involved, might be able to change the course of our future for people of all different races. This movement strikes a core in the black community because of the history that they have with the United States. Furthermore, BLM will only continue to grow; and in this country, where hate towards others seems to be a popular trend, the message that BLM is trying to send out is quite the opposite; we need more love towards
