It is evident that racism and discrimination are still a significant issue in Australia. This preconceived notion that we are separated due to difference of ethnicity is illogical, with the support of the systems that are in place allowing fear to take hold of the public it has promoted the belief that the country needs to be protected, the truth is that many foreigners now call this place their home and we know that this land never belonged to the British it is has always been Indigenous Australian land. With a globalised world and a growing knowledge of different cultures perhaps one day we will find harmony between people of all ethnicities.
