My reaction towards new information doesn’t change a little bit. Reasons why is because I knew what the symptoms were and side effects of racism had towards an individual because I myself have dealt with it my whole life and will always will and just adding facts over long term health effects, doesn’t in the slightest make my think any differently but maybe just cooperating with racism more better. I conducted two different type of interviews on two different kind of people, one male and female with different races and asked them the same questions relating how they felt or dealt with racism. First person I interviewed is a current PA National guard member (Dave, Whalen) and his race is Irish. Racism has many definitions and to some people it can be negative or neither, Mr. Whalen when he hears the word racism he commented with, it’s an extreme form of judgement, and while growing up with this problem as a child he Mr. Whalen hated it and how he tried to deal with it was hurting himself and later on tried to fight the bullies. Additionally, no one’s knows why people are racist towards each other and Mr. Whalen believes it is human nature and it will always exist and with final thoughts about racism he responded with what the point of it people should just learn how to accept each other differences and worry less about their own …show more content…
Also most of my questions listed in the beginning have been answered but not all, with final thoughts about racism I was pleased to discovered that the side effects of being bullied can have short or long term health effects and when put into more thought is in reality a serious issue. Furthermore, my ideas have change about this topic and take a slighter different turn into making more research and still trying to find an answer on how to stop racism once and for
