I really enjoyed this film because it was full of information that I would never think exist. Also, because it gave me a better understanding of how our generation is killing the species of our earth. At first the film was a little boring, but as it went on it got more and more interesting. All of the real life video that was captured made this film worthy for me. All of the nasty things like killing the whales with tarpons and selling their meat gave me a sense of urgency to try and help out. It made me want to reach out and inform more people about this serious problem. I felt that this film related to our class because a lot of the animals that are going extinct are marine animals and the main material we are learning about has to do with the ocean. This film covered a lot of great topics and went into good detail about each one. It covered the topics of whales, manta rays, sharks, climate change, coral decay, and finally the way people are trying to make a difference in a positive way. In my opinion, I felt that this documentary was just right when it comes to time duration. Many of the information in this movie were fit perfectly because it got straight to the point. I loved the title because it summarized the whole movie in two simple words. I thought that the title was accurate because us humans are literally the reason for racing extinction. The material in this film was just my speed,
