Where’s the Improvement? It is almost impossible to abide by any motto set by humans because humans are given choices, and choices are associated with emotions and feelings whether they are realized or not. Granted the option of choice, sometimes people do not select the best judgments. This is the flawed and imperfect nature within humans. We can learn from these flaws to avoid future blunders; however, racial profiling is a trend that seems to thrive amongst the land where all are held as “equals.” All are not held equal in the eyes of society; racial profiling steadily stunts America’s societal growth, despite our claiming of virtue. We have transitioned from explicit ways of profiling others, to the implicit, biased ways of modernized bondage that puts some ethnicities on the frontline each day due to these unexpected dangers. Racial profiling can be defined as the prejudgment of a certain race due to inculcation, or hearsay that is connected with the public eye, or an opinion created by a particular group. Kids are killed and preyed upon all because of preferred clothing and indulgences, despite their premature intentions and their character. Police brutality is at an all-time high, and nothing is being changed. Laws are not being reformed. Racial profiling is beyond detrimental for domestic life here in America. When will the realization come to the surface that just because one Latino steals, one African American acts obnoxious, or one white American acts snobbish, that person does not define the next? We all are comprised of the same internal makeup; the only apparent difference is our pigment. Racial profiling is akin to bullying, and with bullying, the reaction of the person or group being targeted can never be
