Racial minority as defined as a group of a certain race that are in the minority compared to a larger group, the rest of the population. In The United States that means black people and the Latinos. Being minority means that you are underprivileged and under-represented in society. Most minorities do not hold a college degree or a good education, therefore have to work extra hard to make living. The majority of them are on the bottom of the chart economically, which prevent them from getting access to better medical treatment. They usually live in poverty, so they focus more feeding their families than taking care of themselves.
