Introduction
This paper explains the racial issues in the United States and how it is becoming a huge problem for those who live here. The motivation of this is to show how ignorance can affect the minds of people and how they react to people who are different from them. Racial issues have been in America for a very long time since the 1400s; there is a fine line between blacks and whites. Identity relates to who you are as a person. After seeing someone from a different or the same race being gunned down, murdered for the crimes they have not committed; one must question themselves is that what the world sees them as a criminal. These thoughts must have crossed an individual's mind from time to time. With the constant hate that is surrounding all age and race groups, it is difficult to comprehend that these horrendous things that are happening to colored people. In America's perspective, identity now defines people's intentions no matter the race or ethnicity. In today's society, some people have a hard time choosing their identity due to the chaos surrounding them. They have to fight certain types of stereotypes that have been invented over the years in order to become who they want to be. We as the people of color should not be able to feel like to identify ourselves in any given situation. We are being questioned that can lead to "who am I ?" Theses questions are part of us, if we like or not; it questions us how we fit in society. This also means that some groups have the upperhand in economical, political, and social power than others.
