Seeing a lot of news, and listening to multiple podcast many people get immune to rape and the seriousness of it. Rape is the unlawful sexual activity carried out forcibly or under threat; book definition or act of unwanted sex, continuously thriving a woman by hurting her. However you may read it, it’s still cruel and disgusting. The punishment for this despicable crime is merciless. Therefore, I ask any humane human being ,why is that when a man whom is falsely accused of rape does the time in jail, however the woman doing the accusing is not? Women should be sent to jail after a false rape accusation because men lose their life opportunities and chances, respect and a man’s reputation are damaged, and justice is not served for that man making …show more content…
Women walk free all the time it is known facts. Statists give a more follow-up but we know how women might get away with something just because they’re a woman. Avoiceformen, the website noticed how it is easy to blame to males without noticing how guilty the women walk freely. Avoiceformen is supportive because they agree with my position, and further explain how males can also be the direct victims. I use the word victim lightly, however I believe the unfairness exist with opinions on male victims from the justice system. People only talk about how wrong men are and how they should be sent to jail for rape, which is true, I don’t disagree, however no one is talking about the false accusations from women happening.Women aren’t getting jail sentences for this. It is always two sides to a …show more content…
Hilariously, women don't realize they are only making themselves seem weaker and even better courts continue to have inequality. I find it belittling on men who have been innocently convicted destroying their self confidence. How is one supposed to move on believing that just because he is a man he won’t get a fair trial against a man. Maybe along with police departments, courts ,and justice systems a person could say they’re sexist. Sexist yes. Any person who puts someone who is innocent in jail purposely deserves a punishment, how could they not? You're assuming that the rape actually happened because he is a male. For example, if the script was flipped and a man testifies against a woman claiming she raped him do you think anyone would believe him - unlikely. Its unlikely because men rarely accuse women of doing it to them, however I'm not saying it’s

Stereotyping victims can lead to guilty offenders getting away. If a woman is a drug user, runaway, exotic dancer, or does other activities that are deemed immoral by society she may not be seen as a worthy victim. Just because a person is involved in these activities does not mean they cannot be raped. Using shortcuts of labeling can negatively affect those who are truly victimized but their past does not allow them to be treated fairly. This is not how justice should work, but people should be treated equal before the eyes of the law.…

When asked the question if while considering current economic inequalities and racial disparities in the criminal justice system which do I think best explains contemporary U.S. society and the workings of the American criminal justice system, if it’s a Marxist, pluralist conflict, or combination of both. I would have to argue that I think it’s a little of both. I will be will explaining what the Marxist and pluralist conflict theories are and why I think that it is both. Somehow, society is making rape to be okay. Women who are raped do not get justice most times, and they are being treated in a disrespectful way where as the man who committed raped is not to be blamed. According to Feminist Newswire, “Conservative estimates suggest approximately 400,000 rape kits sit untested in crime labs nationwide. At $1,000 per kit analysis, some police departments resist addressing their cities backlogs, citing lack of funds.” (The feminist Majority Foundation).…

Women are considered to be a historically recognized minority group because they do not share the same power, privileges, rights, and opportunities as men. (Boundless) As an American woman I am aware of the treatment of women in today’s American society, and in this paper I shall look back at past accomplishments of women attempting to create fairness and freedom for women as a whole. It disturbs me that women who are victims of a crime do not go to court to report such crimes because of the way that the court treats women as if they may have “deserved” to be raped, beaten, or otherwise attacked by a male. In the United States, women have had less legal rights as men and have been treated as socially secondary and subordinate to men since…

Most of the time the community has no other form of experience with crime besides what they have been taught through the rape acceptance myths. When this happens, the victim is reluctant to share the incident with law enforcement. The victims do not want to be re-victimized by officers being judgmental, or by justifying the rape. People will sometimes come up with ways to justify the rape by giving pardon to the offender. If the community wants to move on from placing stigma on the victims, the citizens have to be aware of the actions they are performing.…

According to Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network (RAINN) about 293,000 people are raped in America each year and 98% of rapists will never spend a day in jail (RAINN). This was very surprising to me. The reason that 98% of rapists will never go to jail is because society will blame the woman for something that was not her fault. Gender violence includes offenses such as domestic violence, sexual abuse, and sexual harassment, and anyone of any gender can become a victim. However, the stereotypical victim of gender violence is female because a large proportion of victims are women. Consequentially, as Jackson Katz discusses in his TED Talk “Violence against women – it’s a men’s issue”, many people believe that issues such as domestic violence and sexual harassment only affect women and, thus, are deemed “women’s issues”. One obvious consequence of this stereotype is that male victims are often overlooked or dismissed, but Katz sheds light upon other consequences of referring to gender violence as a “women’s issue” that contribute to its perpetuation.…

The idea that a man is raped by another man or a woman is treated as nothing more than a joke within society because of the concept of toxic masculinity and the idea that only women can be raped. Coupled with that is also the idea that a woman cannot commit acts of rape simply because in most states rape is specified as a forcible insertion of a sexual organ. These facts are prevalent because they speak to how the country as a whole treats its citizens based on gender and how modern society believes that one gender is stronger or weaker in nature in comparison to the…

All types of rape lead to the same outcome, which the victims fear in something if not everything.
